Cardholder provided Information:

Our electronic purchase service requires that cardholders provide contact information (including without limitation: name, address, city, state or province, postal code, country, telephone and email), and financial information (including without limitation: name on credit card, credit card number and expiry date), and ordering information. This information is collected and used to process the transaction and for internal accounting and other procedures.

Information Automatically Collected:

Our Web site keeps track of usage data, such as the source address that a page request is coming from, your IP address or domain name, the date and time of the page request, the referring Web site (if any) and other parameters in the URL. The IP addresses we collect on our electronic purchase service are linked to personally identifiable information. This is collected in order to combat fraud during the purchase process. We also use this data to better understand Web site usage in the aggregate so that we know what areas of our Web site users prefer. Automatically collected information is also used for the same purposes as cardholder supplied and merchant supplied information.

Sharing of Information:

Certain information submitted through the electronic purchase service (excluding credit card numbers) is shared with the our secure gateway from whom the cardholder is using to purchase the products / services so the merchant can fulfill the order. Information is also shared with other parties necessary to complete credit card transactions, including, without limitation, companies related to aweebitofscotland.com, credit card companies, credit card clearing houses and processors, and financial institutions.

aweebitofscotland.com uses am intermediary between the our site and a user’s credit card company. The parties mentioned in the above paragraph, and not aweebitofscotland.com, are responsible for their own privacy polices and for maintaining privacy and confidentiality for all information aweebitofscotland.com provides them. If a user has any questions or concerns about the privacy policies of those parties, it must contact such parties.

Except for the above parties, and for use by aweebitofscotland.com’s consultants and professional advisers on aweebitofscotland.com’s behalf for the uses disclosed herein, aweebitofscotland.com does not share personal information with any other third parties. aweebitofscotland.com may, however, provide to third parties aggregate or statistical information that does not disclose personally identifiable information.

No information sent to aweebitofscotland.com via email or the website inquiry form is used for any other reason than to respond to and maintain a record of the inquiry. This information is not sent to third parties or retained for mailing list purposes.

All information collected by aweebitofscotland.com is held offline, secured via SSL encryption, and protected by a firewall. Whenever sensitive information is transmitted to aweebitofscotland.com through our Web site, such as a credit card number, our server provides 128-bit encryption of the information as it travels across the Internet. aweebitofscotland.com restricts internal access to personal information to selected members of aweebitofscotland.com’s staff.

Payment

We accept all major credit cards using "PAYPAL" to protect your credit card information, including Visa, MasterCard, American Express. Note: all prices are in US Dollars.
We also accept cash, "IN STORE ONLY", in Canadian and US Dollars. All online orders require payment with order, however, if you would rather not pass credit card details over the Internet, we will accept telephone orders on 1-866-279-5495. Or even email! Just e-mail us your order followed by the postal payment, in Canadian Dollars, and once we have received payment, we will begin to process your order.

Delivery

Most items will be delivered from stock within 30 days. We will strive to complete and send all orders within 48 hours of receipt of payment. If we are unable to deliver goods within the 30 day standard time, the customer will be informed and given the option to cancel the order. We will offer an alternative delivery date if necessary.

Guarantee

All our goods are guaranteed against manufacturers defect for 28 days from the date of sale.

Taxes

Our quotations are valid for 30 days from date of issue unless otherwise noted. Customers will be charged taxes at the rate of 15.0% at the shopping cart stage. We will not be liable for any import tax incurred at port of entry and/or by the Customs Departments.

Carriage & Delivery

We will not accept liability for any loss or damage arising from any act of war, riot, act of God, civil disorder, military or usurped power by government/sovereign direction or legislation, fire, flood, accident, industrial action, weather or any other matter beyond our control. We will not accept liability for late arrival of goods, which can be attributed to the carrier. Although we will make every effort to deliver within 30 days or any other quoted delivery date, such dates do not amount to contract and we will not be liable to the buyer for any loss whether consequential or incidental if delivery of goods is delayed for whatever means.

Returns

Prior to returning your item(s), you must first contact us for a return authorization within 7 days of receipt of goods. If your product is faulty or defective and you return it to us in it's original packaging and in same new condition as shipped, we will replace the item at no extra charge or refund you the cost of the product, less the carriage fee. We are not responsible for the carriage fees of any item where item is not defective. All wedding bridal merchandise are for final sale because of the nature of the sale. We will be happy to refund the cost of carriage paid on returns if the return is a result of an error on our behalf or defective merchadise. We will not be responsible for any local custom fees charged at point of entry into your country.

Custom made to measure, Clan crested, Tartan and Highland Dress items, and wedding items are not subjected to the 7 day return policy. All Clan crested, Tartan and Highland Dress items, such as made to measure kilts, trousers, socks and including all undergarments are not refundable. We cannot accept returns on any items made to a customer's specific personalized size requirements, engraved items or special order products. However, if any of the items as listed above require to be returned because they are faulty or with defects, we will replace them free of charge for the same item in the same colour and size as originally ordered by the customer. Allow 30 days for any refunds. All custom made to measure Highland Dress, Clan and Tartan products are not returnable under any circumstances. Your statutory rights are not affected.
